Long time
I haven't posted in forever. I haven't had much to say that would be interesting.
As I mentioned before, I'm going to the Halloween rank test for Shaolin. I'll be testing for my red sash (just below brown). The last time I tested was last Halloween. It looks like my instructor has come up with costume ideas for everyone, so I don't have to worry about that.
Morgan will be a year old the 25th of this month. We're planning her birthday party for Saturday the 22nd. I think she's almost ready to walk, but it looks like it might not happen until after her birthday. She seems ready, but I don't think she knows she's ready.
Work... wow, uhh that's a tough one. My manager quit a few months ago & we don't have a replacement yet. We were technically already short-staffed before he left. We should have at least 5 full-timers. 6 would be ideal. We currently have 3 & no guidance.
We may have a new manager soon, but we're going to have to share him with another school that's 125 miles away. Our upper management is so inept, I'm through dealing with them. I'm more ready than ever to find another job, I just need to get the search in gear.
I'd really like to do software development of some sort. Web/PHP would be nice. Support just gets so boring.
My supervisor just accepted a new, higher-ranking position in our department. He was already an over-bearing asshole that delegated more work than he actually did. I have a feeling he'll only get worse.
