My mother phoned me this morning to offer her opinion on various topics, concerning, but not limited to, my crazy oldest sibling with nefarious dog plans (more details later as this has "incoming shit storm" written all over it) my youngest sister's inability to plan ahead, and her review of The Last House on the Left.
She has never seen Saw or Hostel, so was unfamiliar with the concept of torture porn. Full disclosure: I've seen about the last 20mins of Saw 1 and that was enough of the entire genre for me. I've never seen Hostel. I don't understand how anyone could want to. Then again, I feel the same way about any movie that could come under the heading of "chick flick" or "romantic comedy."
I'm reading Diary by Chuck Palaniuk right now, and it's awful. I've got about 50 pages left so either it's got a bang-up ending or the books is horrendously bad. It's choppy, feels very gimmicky, the story is repetitive and I don't particularly care what is going to happen. Usually I like him.
Today Noel and I celebrated Fall by roasting a chicken and also made a pie. Hmm, yum, I might have a piece before bed. I took this photo.
