Personally, Savage is only fun when I know all of my friends will be there. And they've all been hanging out at White Orchid (Z). The sign says White Orchid, but it's really called Z. It's pretty chill. Liar's Rosebush is a guy who makes music. It's fucking amazing. He was in town for a show on Saturday and I got drunk and made vegan cupcakes. Not in that order.
I will, however, apparently be attending the second Tokyo Cyber Monster party at Savage, because it was apparently very awesome the first time. And the bitches will be there. Good times. It's on Friday Feb the 8th.
Optik Shift happens every Saturday at Z. EN and ARC dj there a lot. That's usually where I am. This Saturday is the last Darkrave at Funhaus. I was all psyched to go, you know, for nostalgic reasons.. but thinking about how it was raining sweat from the ceiling last Darkrave is making me not care so much. I mean, I DID go to the 2nd Last Darkrave.. I am not sure I can handle all the underage teeny boppers.
But I never stick to plans I make. So who knows. I might end up being there. I keep seeing you downtown a lot, sitting drinking coffee and reading.. or walking ahead of me after getting off the subway. One of these days I should come over and bother you when that happens.
oh, and to correct myself so that you do not end up at Z and curse me because i'm a dirty filthy liar: Base Wars, a new night hosted by Carl (djerrol) has started up at Z, every third saturday of the month. it's a different crowd and sound.. but I had an amazing fucking time and can't wait for the next one.
