American Idol/America's Next Top Model/Jimmy Eat World Concert

I am very shocked about last nights results on American Idol. I did not get to watch either show listed above because I was at the Jimmy Eat World concert last night (more to come on that later). I did get to see AI when I got home and Ben told me who went home on ANTM.

No it won't be the last we see of Constantine, since his band was signed to a label this week.

Who is your favorite then? Mine is Vonzell and Carrie now. But I don't think Vonzell will get the chance to make it to the finals because each week it seems she is in the bottom 3.

Vonzell is my favorite because I think she has the best voice. I agree with you though that she won't win. I like Carrie but she's too stiff on stage.

Everyone knows I love Anthony too, but that's just because he's so cute and sexy.

Honestly, I'm not sure any of them really have what it takes to be a true star. They're not like our Kelly. ;-)

AMEN to that. NO American Idol is as good as Mrs. Kelly Clarkson.

When Constantine got voted off last night I looked at my parents and said, "Well, that's it. I'm boycotting the rest of the season." And I'm serious, too. Constantine going home before Anthony or Scott is just utter and complete bullshit.

However, I have the feeling that maybe people either didn't vote for him, or people were like, "He has no reason to stay since his band just got a record deal." Speaking of the record deal, that was a pretty smart move on his part. Before he ever left for American Idol he signed all of his rights to the band over to his bandmates so that American Idol wouldn't own the rights. I don't know if they'll give him back his rights in two years or what, since if they were to give him back his rights now, then that would basically be giving the band to American Idol, which those guys obviously didn't want. On the other hand, though, if the band were to break up in the next two years, Constantine would be screwed as far as the band goes.

I figured you would be upset about Constantine. I didn't think you would stop watching the show though b/c Bo is still on there and seems to have a pretty good chance to go all the way to the final 2 at this point.

I do agree with you. Scott and Anthony should have gone before Constantine did.

When I say I'm gonna boycott the show, I mean I'm not going to make a conscious effort to watch it now like I had been. However, if it happens to be on I'm sure I'll end up watching at least a little bit of it. ;-)

And yeah, Bo is still on the show, but Constantine was my favorite.
