I should know better.... but what the hey
Well as if, I have so much free time on my hands... but it's true... my friend Spike and I are going to be forming a new band.
This is the part I should know better about... we are going to need members. So I would like to extend an invite for locals to audition. Or, if you KNOW anyone that would like to..
Genre: Hard Rock, Metal, Etc.
Members needed: Bassist, Keyboardist, at least 1 guitarist
All people auditioning MUST have these qualities: Open mind, willingness to work and learn, ability to work as part of a team, must have own equipment.
A little history on myself and my accomplishments in music:
Started playing rock/metal guitar when I was 12. My first band was in Florida where I was a member of two bands, one of which was rather successful in the local scene. The Pipe Bombs were a ska band that did covers of Reel Big Fish as well as our own stuff. Loco Tweezer was an Indtustrial/Slop band that was more for kicks than serious. When I moved back to Jersey, imediately formed Void which was a Alternative/Metal band... had alot of fun but didnt do much. Was highly into the scene with Blind Hate Experiment and the like, when we formed Broken Silence... which then gained a following in the Jersey Metal circuit.
Right now, we are looking for open minded performers with roots from bands like Sevendust, Soilwork, In Flames, and the like.
It will be fun, but hard work in the process. Get in touch with me if interested.
In other news...
I found out that I can be a master a Fire Department and Ambulance Squad politics. I think I may use my expertise in swaying some votes and decisions in my favor in the up coming elections for Officers next year. I will remain as Asst. Chief/Captain... but Im thinking about swaying some decisions for Fire Dept. Lts.
ugh work for the next 6 days.... =P lets see if Im together with myself at the end of this one... yeesh.
