Yesterday I was called by my friend and co-worker on the ambulance, Dave to attend a little get together at his volunteer squad building and then to catch a late movie.
Around 6pm I arrived at Station 142 (which is 5or so minutes from me and almost literally next to Tony's neighborhood). I felt kind of weird because I knew no one accept for Dave and his wife, the two paramedics on Life 794 (which are also stationed there), and Amy (who is another co-worker of mine). It also seems that this particular squad is also a baby factory... every single woman there had like 2 kids...all romping around, making noise, and as soon as I walk in the god damn door, I got pegged with a playground ball... I hate kids...
Anyways, had some burgers and dogs... then Station 42 and Squad 142 got hit for a structure fire... oh yay! Turned out to be nothing special, just a chimney fire.
Then we all congregated at the cinema (WITHOUT the kids, thank god) to watch Dawn of the Dead.
MOVIE REVIEW:
Ok the movie sucked balls... don't waste your money on it.
Imagine the movie "28 Days Later" only taking place in Wisconsin.
The movie was rich in good special effects and music, it had lots of gore... but the story fell about 8 miles to short of interesting... mainly because the shit JUST HAPPENED... you have no clue why it started or what started it...
and the ending WAS ABSOLUTELY STUPID and TERRIBLE!!!
What a fucking bomb of a movie... I will never watch another one of these stupid Zombie Thriller movies until Resident Evil 2 comes out....and thats only because I liked the 1st one.
Zombie Thrillers are now old, played out, unoriginal, and uninspired accept by other zombie films...
This was an absolute take off of 28 Days Later (which I also think sucked goat balls).
*huff* Crap, Crap, Crap.... the only good thing about the movie was the previews which they showed, " Van Helsing" and "Hell Boy". I WANT TO SEE THOSE!!!
