Over exaggeration, miscommunication
never knowing what's the truth
never knowing what they're saying

it seems to me
that life today
has become so complicated

with all of the psycho-babble
n the kids playing scrabble
you would think that we'd be smarter

but indeed life is twisted
it has an evil plot
of which we know not

we try our best
but always regress
unless we have a friend

not just any friend will do
someone who will stay true to you
from now until forever

they are the ones who know us
both inside and out
the ones who truly know us
and what we're all about

no matter how hard we try
sadness will always find us
but hopefully we have our friends
standing both behind and beside us

from here we venture forth
unto a new reality
unsure of what may come

but what we must remember
is that we are not alone
but together all united

for "together we stand, Divided we fall"
still rings true till this very day
all for one, and one for all

it is up to you to create your destiny
make your own decisions in life
and never regret doing the right thing

for if we live our lives as our own,
we shall be forever happy
never to regret a moment lost
