So I find myself with a little free-time, which rarely if ever happens, and I thought of you, and what might be going on in your life, and thought I'd check in. I'm reading my friends page, I'm getting all nostalgic and shit.
Oy. I guess i could fill you in a bit on where I've been, what I've done.
When I left you...how many months ago? Was it July? Really?
When I left you I was getting over a crackhead, finding my feet after a doomed marriage, etc. What's changed?
Well. I've enrolled in art school. I got a B on my first lesson, which is awesome considering I completed it quickly for the sake of turning SOMETHING in.
I slept with someone. The second someone ever in my life to have seen me nekkid. Someone a bit younger than me...but legal, i should add.
I've lost about 55 pounds so far this year..or since february.
I feel good. I feel really good. I'm still not divorced. Chris has moved to Rockford with his new fiance, they plan to marry by August of next year. Fools.
I'm heavily in like with someone. For some reason love and the possibility of it always leads the priority list of my life. Not that I need to define myself by being with someone, but I like the whole mess of it. I'm an idiot.
Work is work. I hope to find a place of my own soon, but on the pay i'm getting it isn't likely to happen until I get a roommate.
I caught a spider in a tupperware container tonight. Talk about an adrenaline rush. i thought my ass was bitten fo sho.
I'm not sure what else to say. Life is a whirlwind, and lately with the events of the world crashing about around me, I feel petty even discussing my little life...but what can ya do?
His name is Mitchell. I did not meet him online. Go me.:)
