Why hello again LJ
So it's been nearly a week since I wrote last and I want to try and write more often.. SO I'm failing at that.. But meh.. at least I do find time to write at least once a week. I don't know some days I just feel the need to write and others I just don't.. However I did toy with the idea of writing in an actual like paper journal. I was curious if it would be easier for me to actually keep up if I wrote them down. Or at least just had a book that I wrote into instead of typing it out on here.. But meh, I didn't get one because I already have this fantastic LiveJournal so what's the point right?
So this week has been good so far. Monday was Bug's WIC appointment. He weighs 28 pounds and is 35.5 inches tall. He's healthy and his iron count is doing great. Work has been going great! I worked most of the week. It's been nice. My co-workers are kind of awesome. I mean there are a few characters but over all not to bad. The management seems rather impressed with my willingness to just jump in right where I left off last year and get the ball rolling. I know basically everything that I need to to hold my own. The general manager stopped me today to talk about the possibilities of becoming a Master.. And actually if you do become a Master there are pay raises involved and all kinds of awesome things.. But yeah.. Over all work in going well.
So my other day off this week (aside from the obvious Monday for Bug's appointment) Friday was a great day, I spent the majority of it out and about with my son. We rode the bus out to the Coliseum Mall and walked around there. Shopped a bit at Target where I bought my new awesome socks and I also bought Bug a really cute gray polo shirt.. It look completely adorable with his green/black plaid shorts.. It's awesome.. Kind of reminds me a bit of how Tony dresses. It was sooo cute!! I even took a pic and sent it to him telling "hey look I'm preppy looking like you" it was sweet and awesome. I also bought myself a cute pair or Mary Jane style house socks. I love them and they are kind goth nerd very much like my style so they were awesome.
For dinner we went to Five Guys and had well Bug had grilled cheese and fries and I had a little cheeseburger and shared some of Bug's fries. I like going there because you can't really beat the price and the atmosphere.. Bug really liked it there. I think it's going to be our "Momma Bug Date Night" spot from now on. The food is good and the price is better. I think spending the day with Bug like that was good for him. He doesn't freak out nearly as bad when I go off to work. It's nice to know my son is distraught when I leave. Because well I will always come back for him..
But yeah this is what I know at the present moment. :D Oh wait yeah I dyed my hair a strawberry blonde. A new look for me but I think I like it.
