Back in Dubuque
So on Tuesday I was in Colorado Springs with my sister and brother in law watching "The Dark Knight" at an IMAX theatre. As we were waiting for the movie to start, previews began. The first thing we see is a Warner Brothers symbol, and suddenly the theme from Harry Potter starts. I get all excited, only to see the following words on the screen: "See select scenes from Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince only in IMAX 3D theatres." No preview. Just that teaser. I was mad at them for getting my hopes up.
But that got me to thinking; at the end of the preview for the fifth movie, one of the characters (Sirius Black I believe) spoke to Harry while the screen was just the logo for the movie instead of the movie scene. That got me to thinking, what if the people in charge of the trailer decided to do something similar? What would be said, and who would say it? So I have come up with the following suggestions for Warner Brothers:
1. Snape: "We've been reusing the same book for twenty-five years?!"
2. Voldemort: "Of course we send in the children first!"
3. Ron: "Quit snogging my sister, Harry!!"
4. Hermione: "Get on with it already, Harry!!"
5. Hagrid: "Do I get any lines?"
6. Dumbledore: "It's only a flesh wound, Harry."
