Well, the crafty bug has apparently bitten.
Now we are plotting a candle-making adventure. It's probably going to be poured soy candles (hold scents well, easy, not smoky, etc.), since I don't have molds for tapers or a huge supply of beeswax. Of course, we can probably be swayed...
There is a place down in Stafford (
Bitter Creek) that has supplies for reasonable prices (better than your neighborhood hobby superstore), so we'll try to do one order and one trip down to pick stuff up after we decide what we're going to do and appropriate wick research has been done.
And, after that, we'll descend on somebody's house and try not to destroy their kitchen while we create new and exciting waxy goodies!
