'Tis the season, eh? With the holidays bearing down on us, like the internal organs of a mother giving birth, I have taken a moment to reflect on the past few weeks and found myself sitting in an odd place. Same home; same job, though with an addition; same family. Yet my life has turned almost wholly upside down. The combination of working at both Sears and CVS has surprisingly not killed me yet, though it tries desperately, and I have even managed to even develop a small bit of a social life. To be perfectly honest, all the sacrifice and fatigue seems to be paying off, but not how I expected. My determination to succeed at my new job and to really put in an effort at acquiring...well...money, has actually given me an improved sense of accomplishment and a new type of confidence. While my old pompous "I'm right dammit." attitude has not disappeared, it has been joined by a new confidence that comes from self satisfaction. What it means and how this affects anything is anyone's guess, but suffice it to say I'm happier. With this said I'll move on to my schedule.
Sun - CVS 10a - 6p
Mon - Sears 6:45a - 3p*
Tue - What? No work!?!
