First you get the money, then you get the power!
The owner of the store pays for one flight out each year for managers, meaning that when I visit family in BC next month, I'm not paying for airfare. This is awesome, because part of my trip is going to be spent getting a new tattoo, and those things cost money. I also desperately need a new jacket, seeing as how I sold my good winter one at a garage sale when I thought I was moving. Also also, I need winter boots, and long sleeve shirts.
I may look at new computers when I'm down there, too. This one isn't bad for 99% of what I want to do, but I started playing Warhammer Online again when my WoW card ran up, and it's doing the same thing it did when I played last year: Causing my computer to freeze and my monitor to shut down. One person in-game suggested that it's a lack of RAM but I have more than enough of that. I suspect it's my video card. It's interesting to note that this problem occurs most often when I'm in PQ or RvR zones.
I spent yesterday looking on Tigerdirect.ca and alienware.com for dream computers... holy hell, Alienware is like geek pr0n.
I'm feeling rather worried about what I'm going to do when April and Dave move away; for example, what if I needed to take Siebert to the vet? I would have nobody to take me. He's extremely thin, and has licked all the hair off his back legs, but the vet can't say why. It's frustrating and more than a little worrying to think that if he suddenly took a turn for the worse, I couldn't get him help in time.
