Yeah, I'm Alive
Hey guys. I know I haven't posted in literally forever, but I've had noooooooo time at all, and the internet won't let me on for more than 10 minutes normally at a time.
Student teaching is going okay. Things are going well teaching-wise and well with my co-op. I'm living in a big house alone and even though it's gorgeous, strange things are happening: like getting stuck in the driveway, blackout, losing running water, bugs, blowing insane amounts of lightbulbs. Yeah, haven't figured out if the house likes me yet. Don't think so.
But the kids like me and they are actually learning from me. Yay.
In other news, I auditioned at Eastman last Friday. It went alright I guess. Normally I'm like "I needed more practice!" or "I could have done so much better!" but I actually can't say that. The mistakes I made were from nerves and only nerves. The interviews were awesome. I guess I maybe have a shot at getting in, but it's still so questionable.
Especially since MU lost my transcript requests.
Neither school has my transcripts adn they should have been in a month ago at the latest. SOOOOOOOOO pissed.
In fact, that's the reason why I'm not in Pittsburgh doing my interview audition there. It was cancelled b/c of MU's stupidity (and these colleges not telling me that they haven't received them yet...)
There's still hope I guess, but I'm kind of clinging on to effort. I resent the transcript requests and am keeping my fingers crossed.
Other than that, I need to socialize with people my age. The only person I see that is my age-ish now is Scott and that's only when he comes and visits. Coming home next week for P-Day weekend so yeah.
Emily (Kemily) and Nicole: extending the invite for hanging out here. What are your weekends looking like this month? Call me. I don't get on here much.
