Happy Birthday.
Today marks the twenty-fourth year of my life in this reality... twenty-four years chockfulla' lasting memories... many, many, many more years to come.
Had a small li'l open-door/open-invite get together...... nothin' big... had out all the leftover booze from the wedding... I got a little tanked... might have overdid it on various other fronts, as well... but, fuck it, when you're up at five o'clock in the mornin'... 'n you're not the only one... it's become the worlds smallest two-man party. Didn't get up till this afternoon... I've pretty much missed all the calls from the family... might see 'em today for dinner or lunch or somethin'... it's already goin' on one......
So far, I've received some pretty sweet gifts...
Pseudojen came by (braved public transportation at night), her gifts were jasmine 'n sandalwood incense cones... 'n a snazzy cone-holder/incense stick-holder... plus, she made my card into an origami-frog... very cool... thank you.
Russ scored me a pack of cloves, drinks, laughs, 'n kerf... effin' cool... thanks Man.
Cassick 'n Kayla gave a Spider-Man & Venom action set, which is one part of an entire connecting line of action sets that, I believe, goes off one after another in an entire action sequence... this crazy Space Sand, which is sand made with the same dealies as sand on Mars, 'n it interacts with water 'n oxygen in a way that can only be seen to believe... even got me a goldfish bowl to do it up in... I've still got the red 'n yellow sand to go through... plus, a very touching gift; a nose hair trimmer... my last one broke 'n my nostrils were quickly become an enchanted forest for li'l tiny gnomes... thanks guys.
'n my Baybe got me this adorable stuffed tiger named Hobbes... he even comes with his own routine...... six packs of guitar strings... which include three sets of these even sweeter kind of Dean Markley's strings than I asked for... 12 guage... super-sweet... and a sleek electric razer...... 'n this really cool temperature/humidity/moon phases/clock set to the Atomic Clock/indoor-outdoor external reader/freakin' awesome dealy technology thing... I love it... still waitin' for it to set itself... lol... AND she got me a li'l somethin'-somethin' too.
All-in-all... a very cool birthday-countdown-get-together-night. Listened to music... walked around the apartment, sat in different rooms, moved around... drank... smoked... watched An Evening With Kevin Smith... played cards... WoW... Xbox Three-Siddy...... it was a very chillax night
