(no subject)
So I went to apply at Chili's. The guy who gave me the application said I would probably get hired. The busboy told me I would get hired too cause I'm hot. He said that the manager hires any good looking girl that walks in. So much for brains before beauty...not that being a hostess requires much, if any intelligence. I hate that standard though. What if I wasn't pretty? Would my job search be that much harder? I'm sure it's different once you get up into more high paying, skill required jobs, but still. I think its fucked up.
