Singfest
Was kinda raising an eyebrow before stepping into fort canning for the Singfest last night.Well half of the artist were really the Madonna and Robbie Williams of the 80s while back then I was struggling to understand the simpsons.
The boys got the tickets on my behalf and couldnt stop talking abt Cyndi Lauper and the Pet shop boys while I was secretly rooting for Mark McGrath from Sugar Ray.
The only song from Cyndi Lauper that I know of probably was the oneI used to hum in the younger days
"I know your true colors...... shinning thru and dont be afraid.."
Anyway the preception was quickly proven wrong.
The vibes of the crowd was overwhelming and the location couldnt be more than perfect with everyone merrying under the starlight.
Cyndi Lauper started her set, it was just amazing.
The petite lady at 54 (according to the boys)had a giant presence on stage and captivated everyone's attention.
She looked amazing - in her black outfit,ash grey hair and body that ladies would die for.
Before I even notice, I joined the prancing crowd to her music.
Sugar ray was fun to see on stage thought they sounded better on the albums but Mark Mcgrath was defintely better live :P
Pet shop boys do I even have to say more. Everyone was running around with rainbow flags n stuff~
