Corn is no place for a mighty warrior!
It's been a busy week. It's been very fun though, well most of the time at least :P
Pretty much the entirety of my mother's side of the family are in town right now and believe me when I say that it's a whole lot of people.
Thursday was the first time I've been swimming in entirely too long. I'd jury-rigged my top to still work, but it's still time for me to get a new bathing suit. Then I can jump and move around without fear ;)
Friday was the first time I'd gone to Evolution in a long time because of the long weekend. It's nice to actually be able to stay up as late as you want...and not suffer for it at work the next day. Mistakes at my job can be quite a problem. I had fun. The music was certainly better than the last time I came out. And I actually had a bit to drink and had some very interesting conversations outside. After being reclusive for the past while I got some dancing in but spent much of the time being social.
Canada day was nifty. Having a Saturday off was definitely great. I went for a walk, got some things done, and then went to a very amusing Canada Day party. Capture the flag in the dark was funny. I really should have worn shoes.
And Sunday I really should have worn sunscreen :P *sigh* I went to the Pride Parade with my sister and one of my cousins. It was pretty nifty, but they seem to be getting smaller every year. The after party thingy was also smaller and having my sister along meant I had to leave pretty quickly. Sorry! There were still a lot of people there though. And so I headed back to my parents place with the first sunburn that I've had in over half a decade. i suppose I really should have gotten more sun this year :P
Oh it's time to go to work...maybe I'll finish up the rest later...
