I went to a Fair Trade um, fair yesterday.
I was expecting....
Well, to be honest, I was expecting a bunch of different kinds of coffee.
Which is cool, 'cause I really like coffee.
Maybe too much.
Anyway, imagine my shock and delight when I found all kinds of cool offerings from chili mix to windchimes, to baskets, and jewelry.
I did some holiday shopping there.
Then tonight, I went back to the site that sponsored the fair, and did some more.
Neat Vietnamese Basket made of folded magazine papers: $10
Cute Birdie Windchime from the Phillipines: $12
Assorted Baskets, Jewelry, and other Goodies: More than I wanted to spend.
Actually doing some holiday shopping before the aforementioned holiday occurs _and_ helping to support the sustainable work of artists and artisans in developing nations: PRICELESS.
