Hmmm where to begin. This last underway was craptastic. Mostly because I ended up with a mutant flu bug. Actually Doc thought I had scarlet fever. I had a 102-103 fever with a crazy red rash and a coated tongue. Turns out it was just the flu and I had a reaction to the cold medicine he had given me a day earlier. I ended up SIQ in the rack for 24 hours. Those of you that know me and how little I typically sleep out at sea would be amazed to know I actually spent most of that time in the rack. Of course the fever and crazy dreams made sure I stayed put. I have never been that sick underway ever. It burned itself out finally and the second week out was better. I am absolutely fine now. Never know I had been sick at all. Craziness. We did some cool stuff this time out. Which of course I can't talk about. Be very glad to give this thing to the other crew. July needs to hurry up and get here so I can do some travelling and then see the kids again.
