Today my husband and I walked through some snowy paths on a cold, cold New Years Day in North Park. This bright little cardinal really stood out upon the whites and browns and grays of the season. He refused to be my subject and through my persistance I finally got him through the bushes.
To me it's a reminder to always see the bright in a somewhat dull world.
This is the beginning of a wonderful year.
