So I have been a very long time fan and reader of everything Wraeththu, and I currently own everything that has come out that is Wraeththu (all six main books, the various mythos books, the most recent paraimminence, and even the roleplaying game). The only book I haven't read yet is the caste book one, I bought it and its being shipped to me but I haven't read it yet. (Though doesn't that apply more to the real world philosophic applications of the magic system, rather than the actual system used by hara as they sling bolts of magical fire out of their hands.)
I can wrap my head around most aspects of the setting, its characters and its nature, though elements of the magic actually confuse me. Like what it is capable of, and how it works, and what can the Wraeththu empower with their magic. I see a lot of awesome references to lets call it technomagical artifice in the most recent books, but I am not fully visualizing how it was done. Its the same thing with what aruna is capable of, and grissicon, and the other elements. And how exactly the dehara come into play in magical workings.
Part of my problem is probably that its been so long since I read all the books from cover to cover in the order they were meant to be, so I am a little rusty on all the magical dealings within it. Still, this is a question that I have been wondering for a while, multiple years in fact.
But yeah, any assistance, thoughts, or commentary on this would be really appreciated. I love Wraeththu, its magic, its universe, and all the characters that lie within it.
