Para-Imminence - the next Wraeththu Anthology is only a week or two from publication (I just recieved my proof-pdf to check)
As a taster here's a bit of 'The Skies of Miyacala' (by me!)
Silence followed; Caline had expected more. “So basically,
forgive the pun, you intend to wing it.”
The young Opt snorted a stifled laugh. “Ok. Yes, it’s going to
be an improvisation. But no more so than anything the first
Wraeththu did. The curse the Lion of Oomar laid on the towers
of She’Ka’Gee for instance. The scholars of Kyme are almost
certain he changed his intention at least twice during that
evocation.”
“They also say he’d just drunk eighteen bottles of dehar-proof
alchohol and had had a row with his lover about a kitten,” replied
Caline. “Not that it makes a difference.”
