whats up my 'n'words?
its been really busy here so i havent had time for pretty much anything, so now with these couple of hours i have off, i decided to tell you about my adventures.
remember when i told you guys that i would never leave to anyplace outside of where i am for any reason? it turns out i was lying at the time without knowing it. last wednesday, i went on a mission to tallil (pronounced tah-leel) with one of the officers i worked with. we went there to check out some of the people we work with to see how they're doing.
i got to ride on a Chinook helicopter there. it was hot as hell cuz the heat of the two rotars was getting trapped inside the cabin throughout the entire 2 hour ride. so once we landed, it was about 100 or so degrees outside, but it was a whole lot cooler than what we just went through.
the next morning we went to go visit our people. i learned a lot about them, which of course i wont tell cuz of security reasons.
after our visit, we went to the major religiously historical site they had in the area, the zigarat. or the ziggy for short. apparently, some guy named abraham lived there. who he was and why hes important, i do not know, i never boned up on my religios history to know about him. but i can say this.... they used a hellof a lot of brick to build that whachacallit. of course i took pictures of the area, plus one of a hill that looked like it had a butt crack just for fun.
it was about 10 degrees hotter than here and windy as fuck, which makes me glad to be back cuz they had a major wind storm the day we left.
well, that about all the time i have.
love you all,
