For rilla. What got me to take a step back [I was against, completely] was the "Death Panel" idea. I couldn't help but recall that end of life counseling wasn't that unheard of [unless the years of brain damage are confusing me] I could've *sworn* Catholics have something similar.
It's become a war of deep-seated principles, talking heads and fear. And it's a damn shame, really.
I agree. When I was insured, I was happy with my plan with the exception of a treatment I underwent a few years ago that involved what they considered to be an experimental drug. I had to pay $200 a pop for a series of injections. I couldn't afford number three, so I have no idea if I'm healed up or not.
I don't believe private insurance is perfect, as it absolutely has it's flaws. It's selfish to think, but I question what my chances are for getting a cheaper shot with the US gov't in charge.
I'd just like them to read the whole bill, if it isn't too much to ask...
I'm guilty of that approach to the idea of NHS, but now find myself split after doing research.
