Ill be damned!

Well well well...I finally get around to posting since the storm(Katrina)...We left & went to Tallahasse Florida to my sister-in-laws house...It was really cool but overcrowded...19 people between two houses...Ouch...In fact the second night there we stayed at a third house...It was really hard to sit there and watch everything being destroyed...So many emotions run through you its nuts...Wednesday my Mother-in-Law & myself went back home...My house was still standing but had really bad roof damage that caved in our ceiling...Pretty much ruining all our kitchen stuff...The living room almost suffered the same fate but was spared as well as my big ass TV & electronic system...My Crate full stack however went underwater & I dont know if it will work at all...Bout 2 grand of money for that stuff :( Ill have to replace it somehow someway...I took my Mother-in-Law to her house in Waveland & it was completely destroyed...Although it look like it was standing everything inside was destroyed as well as the frame of the house...I felt so bad for her...She spent so much time & money into that house making it her home for over 30 years...My wife grew up in that house so it was pretty hard to take in...As a matter of fact pretty much 90 to 99% of my in-laws are now homeless...Its sad...So now we are awaiting a FEMA trailer to live in on my parents land...We are dead broke from me being out of work for a month & we have been paying our bills, so any saved money is now gone completly...But everyhting seems ok...I mean it is all really fucked up but its ok I think...I help whenever & however I can with everyone...I really miss looking at the beach...I walked downtown Gulfport right after I got back home & it was very depressing...We got by police & everything for a while so I saw a lot...I could have walked all the way to Long Beach...I just wanted to see it for myself...It smelled really bad too I wont ever forget that...The smell of death thick in the air all around you...Standing on the rook while making repairs you could smell the bodies...I know there are a lot more dead here than they are letting us know about & I am sure that is the case everywhere else effected by the storm...So now i am working & Tricia is at home mommy again & picking up what she can while I work...There is just so much to do & not enough time in the day...Our options are so limited it sucks...We need to get Deegan out of here...He is 5 months old now & the perfect baby...But right now he is really sick & going to the doctor in the morning...We still owe the doctor money also...Stress! ARGH! Its cool though cause we can pull through it I know...I worry about my son...He almost had me in tears tonight with his crying & coughing...Its hard on him I know he is so young & knows nothing of sickness...I hope is gets better quickly & is back to his normal happy baby self...Well to all my friends that read this hope you & yours is well & remember whatever sucked before still sucks but we got bigger fish to fry by cleaning & rebuilding this place back into the awesome homeland we all hav egrown to love called "The Gulf Coast of MIssissippi"!
