This may just be an assumption on my part or a broad overgeneralization of something I saw once, but this is what I think. I think that at some point later on in life the question, "Who has had an impact on your life?" will come up. It's a valid question. Everyone has their heroes, idols, or whatever you'd like to call them that they look up to. If you haven't already thought about that question take some time and think about it. I do believe, however, that there is another important question that must be asked. Now maybe this question is asked just as much as the other and I just haven't notice, but I'm some what sure it's not. That question is, "Who's life have you had an impact on?"
I think it's important to ask yourself this from time to time just to see where you're at. It's important to realize that, even if you believe your actions to be slightly more insignificant than the biggest athlete, or the musician, or what have you, chances are there is someone out there that you're having a huge impact on.
I hope this makes some sense. As I type it seems to be getting worse and worse, so I think I'll stop now.
Ask yourself: "Who's life have I had an impact on?"

She loves salting my wounds
Yes, she enjoys nothing more
I bleed confidence from deep within my guts now
I'm the king of this pity party with my jewel encrusted crown
