Wardrobe Essentials
tenebris and I got to talking about what we considered "wardrobe essentials". I thought it was a pretty misleading term, because what I absolutely had to have in my wardrobe is as follows:
Clothes - A little black dress. A fancy top and good pants. A brighter dress for outings/parties. One pair of jeans and 1 nice T-shirt. Collared blouse. Knee length coat. Formal coat. Button up sweater. Socks are optional.
Shoes - One pair each of flats, sneakers, low heels in black, higher heels in another colour, boots (any length)
Which I think is quite different from the ladies.
So I thought it would be fun to do it for the other characters too!
All items are considered as single items unless otherwise stated...
Pacific Rim
Raleigh:
Clothes - T-shirt, jeans, cargo pants, shorts, lumpy and comfortable sweater
Shoes - sneakers
Mako:
Clothes - collared blouse in dark colour, durable pair of slacks, engineering overalls
Shoes - black canvas shoes (laced), boots (probably ankle length, but not something she thinks about really)
Madoka Magica
Homura:
Clothes - School uniform. Collared blouse preferably white, pleated skirt, black stockings, sweater (sweater vest/buttoned up wool jacket/something like that), something to keep her fringe out of her face - hair band or ribbon
Shoes - loafers, black or brown
Kyouko:
Clothes - Tiny shorts, random black top, no preference on whether it is a tube or singlet or whatever it is. Jacket. Any old black string to tie back her hair.
Shoes - Boots, furry ones preferred, no length restrictions
Mami:
Clothes - School uniform. Two fancy tops. Two nice skirts. Dress. Stockings or thigh highs. Most of her stuff is frilly. At least a pair of hair ties, though a hair pin is also nice.
Shoes - Nice flats, but she wouldn't say no for heels.
Bleach
Byakuya:
Clothes - Green scarf. Collared shirt, white and tailored. Pants, black/brown and tailored. Coats and casual slacks are bonuses but not entirely necessary. These will be in any other colour other than black/brown, although the colours will not be too rich. Trenchcoat.
Shoes - Laced oxfords, black or brown. No boots unless it's part of a formal uniform.
Renji:
Clothes - Jeans. T-shirt, the louder the colour/design, the better. Bandanna. If there are no jeans cargo pants are entirely possible.
Shoes - Sneakers, fancy versions also preferred.
Ichigo:
Clothes - School uniform. Several T-shirts to wear under his school shirts and on their own. Not fussy between jeans and cargo pants, as long as he has something to wear really low on his hips.
Shoes - Sneakers, the plain sort.
Rukia:
Clothes - At least two dresses, though rather simple in design. UNLESS SHE HAS SOMETHING WITH BYAKUYA THEN SHE WILL RAID HER CLOSET FOR A NICE FANCY DRESS. Skirts and blouses are fine to substitute the dresses, although that's not her first choice. Hats are optional, but favoured.
Shoes - one pair of black flats.
Nodame Cantabile
Chiaki:
Clothes - One white collared shirt (tailored). One dark coloured pants (tailored), as long as the coat is matching it's fine.
Shoes - One pair of dark shoes
Nodame:
Clothes - Circle skirt and any comfy top really....
Shoes - Who cares?
I might do Homestuck next, this is fun!
