Ever since I've started reading the DW Latest Page, I've had flashes of revelation. It informs me of things that I didn't even know that I was interested in, and I spend many happy hours following links. These are some of the links I've followed this week.

Most of you have no idea what Martin Luther King actually did
I'll be the first to admit that when I think of Martin Luther King, I think about his speech, and not much beyond that. But this write-up of how Martin Luther King and co taught his people how to take the blows and discover that it only made them stronger made me tear up. I had to hide that fact from the colleagues sheepish

After the 2011 Japanese tsunami and after the clean-ups
A series of awesome photos that everyone should look at. I followed the events of the Japanese tsunami closely because it occured very close to my trip, but I admit that my attention has slacked off since then. Seeing this link however put me in awe of the clean-up work that had to be done. So much devastion after the earthquake and tsunami, and yet some of these places are in working condition, or at least cleared for future use. It's amazing.

No Shit - A write-up on clothing and body image
For as long as I can remember, I've never been able to buy off the rack clothes without trying, because my butt is so much larger than my waist. I've learnt to live with it, but it's good to know that everyone has clothing problems. And I mean EVERYONE.

With that in mind, check out this awesome dress linked by
