Spice Girls made me feel nostalgic. I definitely need to dig out all my old CDs from my parents' attic. I bet I still have theirs.
I was surprised by the My Everything cover. Their pronunciation wasn't not as bad as I was expecting (no worse than Donghae's and he sang it for an entire concert tour) and they all sounded very good.
I used to have the Spice Girls' CDs but they've become so scratched I put them away somewhere and now I can't find them. I know I still have their movie on VHS downstairs. Unfortunately, too many people saw them as a gimmick group instead of really seeing the talent they had. Mel B (Sporty) was always my favorite but many people wrote her off because of her accent. However, in their 2nd CD the writers used her a lot, especially for ad libs. They really matured and had grown a lot by the 2nd album. I'm still hoping for a reunion tour someday.
The pronunciation wasn't horrible, I was able to understand most of it and there were only a few words that were completely off. As usual Jonghyun & Ryeowook's pronunciation were the best.
I loved that movie. I thought it was absolutely epic when it came out. They could all sing very well and then Geri left and no one seemed interested in them as a quartet. Quite the shame, if you ask me.
I think Ryeowook benefited from hearing Donghae play it so many times as he rehearsed it for Super Show 1.
(pssst, sporty spice is Mel C...Mel B is scary spice LOL)
They did have a somewhat short reunion tour last year, but it didn't last long. *shrugs* It's kind of a shame. I liked their last album before they broke up. :(
(if you want replacements, I could always find you some? let me know)
