if you think sucky sushi is bad...
irritated... just the first day of the wkend and my plans went awry...
supposed to join some friends for a movie in the evening after their dinner but to my astonishment... they were just getting seated when i reached Thai Express at Esplanade... well i wasn't worried since we still have more than an hour to spare...
and ho! was i shocked when i waited with them and still not seeing their food being served an hour after ordering... as i saw dissatisfied customers leaving the premise and untouched food on the table next to us (don't ask me why the server do tat after the customers left)... i advised my friends in jest that they can either have tat unwanted food or it's time to look for another eatery...
but no... they wanted to continue waiting as they are afraid the other kitchens already have their last order... and so i, resigned to the fate of no movie for the day, waited with them and finished my orange ice-blend...
in the meantime... a fren mms to the email given to complain abt the service while another took medicine for gastric relieved... pathetic... and i was considering to knock the table to get the servers' attention after seeing someone from a neighboring table managed to get their food after doing tat..
finally after more than 1.5 hr of waiting... the first order was served... and i said to my friend "Finally your food from Bangkok has arrived" right in front of the server...
ok enough ranting... since the food was on the hse in the end... time to go to bed... it still beats me why it took almost another half an hour for the last order to arrive when it happened to be the same dish that was first served
