Deidre pulls up on her motorbike in front of Bruce's mansion. She dials his number -- nicked from the time Thomas was trying to convince everyone to prank call Bruce Wayne -- and her grin can be heard in her voice.

"I'm outside. You ready?"

"I'll be right out"

Bruce comes out and walks down the many stairs to the driveway of the mansion. He's wearing leather pants and jacket and carrying a black helmet.

"Hey. I'm ready"

Deidre's wearing leather pants and a coat, and underneath that a red silk shirt tied above her belly-button. The cold and the wind are really not an issue for her.

"Fantastic." She grins at him, wearing a helmet only for appearances, and with her hair in a neat French plait to prevent a; it getting in her face and b; dreaded helmet hair.

"I have to admit, this is a first. I'm usually the one in the driver's seat" He puts his helmet on.

"Then I'd better make it worth your while," She smiles, and waits until he's on and seated properly to kick off. As they ride away from the mansion, she says over her shoulder, "I saw a really lovely little spot for a picnic, so I've had a little something set up. Hope you don't mind."

He's a little surprised.

"Not at all. You seem quite resourceful to set something up so quickly"

He holds her hips gently but firmly to stay on the bike behind her

Deidre has minions. This is generally useful when you want to move fast. The twins arranged a picnic -- complete with a few foods Deidre doesn't mind eating for show -- and are currently standing guard at it while they wait for Deidre and Bruce to arrive.

Deidre grins a bit to herself, speeding around a corner.

Bruce watches the trees speed by. This is one of his favorite parts of the area he lives in, the purity in contrast to the city.

It's not too long before Deidre's pulling up at the picnic spot; a blanket is spread out with a bottle of red wine and some food, with four enormous white candles set in high candle-holders at each corner of the large blanket.

Scooby and Petey bow respectfully and excuse themselves; they'll be close enough to come back and clean up later, but out of earshot until Deidre wants them.

She takes off her helmet and slides out of her coat, draping it across her arm and smiling. "Voila."

Bruce takes off his helmet and leather jacket as well, nodding to the two servants as they leave.

"Well Deidre, you are full of surprises aren't you?"

She gives him a mischievous little grin, one eyebrow slightly arched. "I'm told it's part of my charm. Drink?"

He nods.

"Yes, please"

He sits down on the picnic blanket.

Deidre sits down across from him, and pours the wine, handing him a glass.

"So what do you think of the motorcycle you bought me?" she asks, eyes sparkling with amusement.

"I think it's almost as beautiful as it's owner. The most important thing is what you think of it" He takes the wine and takes a sip

"I adore it. Like I said -- she's my baby." Deidre tastes her wine, and smiles. "It's not every day fantastically wealthy playboys buy me new toys."

"Do you meet fantastically wealthy playboys everyday? If not, that's probably the reason why."

He grins.

She laughs. "Point taken!" As always when she's not entirely sure of herself -- and what girl from her world didn't always dream of a date with Bruce Wayne -- Deidre's voice is slipping towards her natural accent; upper-class British, as opposed to the lazier, affected tones she usually speaks in. "Although it's surprising who you can meet in the nexus. I notice you've already run into other versions of yourself?"
