I've actually had a weekend worth talking about. It's been a while, so here goes -
Yesterday I went to the Ohio State vs. Youngstown State game. Guess who won! Guess!!!
Okay, okay - I hope you said OSU, because, well, der. It's OSU! Yay! It ended up being 43-0, which really makes for kind of a boring game. But since OSU tickets are hard to come by, it was super nice to actually be at the game. And it was a nice day - sunny and in the 80's. In the 80's is typically a bit hot for a panda, but somewhere around the middle of the 2nd quarter the shade came over my side of the stadium and all was well. Plus! I had a bratwurst and some crackerjacks. Awesome.
Oh, also, before the game, I happened to run into a former co-worker whilst eating breakfast, and caught up on the goings-on in her life, which was pretty great. It's nice seeing people you haven't seen in months, I mean, when they happen to be people you like. :)
Speaking of, today, I got to see duncandahusky and takaza courtesy of fordshepherd and kai_darkwolf . Duncan and Dan are in town from Chicago, so we went to the North Market, here in town, and had lunch from various places at the market, and then of course we all had Jeni's Ice Cream for desert. Then went back to Ford and Jack's house and hung out for a little while and watched a movie (Little Miss Sunshine).
Then I came home and started a new panda/shepherd picture. Oh, I finished one Saturday night - linkity link. I realize these are not much better than the scribbles of toddlers, but you know, it gives me something to do.
So that's been my weekend. Tomorrow's Labor Day, so, technically the weekend isn't over, I've got one more day before going back to work, but tomorrow will probably be pretty uneventful, you know, grocery shopping and whatnot.
