Seriously, Bodyline?
I'm just perusing all the BURANDO Lolita online shops for the finishing accessories to my coordinate, when I happened to catch something that made me LOL and WTFBBQ at the same time. I love gaudy nails. I love them to the point that I've worn them many a time and helped plenty of other people put them on. I know how they are supposed to look. This:
IS NOT FUCKING IT. Click the picture to see the fullsize so you can see that not only did they not put them fully down the nailbed, but THEY'RE UPSIDE DOWN. Better yet, here's the link. I've ordered things from Bodyline and their quality is good for the price, plus shipping is decent, so they seem to have a good business practice down. Now let's talk about advertising for a second. When you do something wrong in an advertisement, it not only makes the product look bad, but you now look dumb. I just had to share the WTFery on this.
On the other hand, I did find a cute necklace and bracelet set I'm thinking about getting:

It seems like they'd match the rest of the outfit well, and they're not really gaudy like some of the stuff they have on there. Plus, at $6 a piece, if they end up being horrible, it won't be like a spent that much money on them. Let's just say I won't be buying nails there, though. After that I just need socks or tights and I should be good. Maybe for the nails I'll just go to Sally Beauty Supply and make my own design, since none of the ones I'm seeing seem to be impressing me. The part I'm struggling with most is a bag. All the cute ones are really expensive and, if you don't recall, I just spent $200 on a Coach bag a few months ago. Plus, all the components of this coordinate, action figures, conventions... I'm not made of money, believe it or not. Any suggestions?
