nZ today
Its been a while! Sorry i havent updated by I've been ill, and with being at Bushy Park last week, it was a lot to update and i didnt feel up to it. Good news, im better now! since last saturday ive had a nasty tummy bug, and though im still on medication and expecting some results from the lab tomorrow - i think im ok now. Im feeling good and taking care of myslef, but im falling asleep...and right now desperte for it to be evening so everyone will be back and i can either be kept awake by then, or just go to bed! However, its 1.30 and im expecting firstly an electriian to fiz the stove, and secondly, Megan with 2 new volunteers. Id go to bed and have a rest, but i cant risk missing the electrician (even though he was supposed ot have come and gone by now). Today we have new guys coming - Robert, 38, UK, Alex, 21, Uk and Doug, 18, USA. HMmm...more boys - we'll see! Lyndon left this morning, and Im missing him already. Mairi left yesterday - but she was only here for 2 weeks so i dnt feel the loss like i do the others. Cat is leavin this avo, which'll be wierd as she has been here since the beginning. I dont like change. This i know - as im very uneasy already, before the new guys have even arrived. Everyone is at the Marae today, buti stayed back to fully recover, Im wishing id gone now as im fighting to stay wake and feeling fine. Some gentle seedball work would do the trick round about now! I did a bit of weeding in thegarden this morning and i think il go do some more in a minute - something to keep me awake!
Bushy Park was fine, except that I was a bit sick - but Arzu set aup a really lovely morning birthday wakeup for me - with muffins shaped into "22" and pressies and a sing song of course! i thinik we topped it for her birthday on saturday with poppers and blowers, and a lit cake!
right, off to do more weeding . oh, we got through all 3 lord of the rings - in 3 days! woohoo!! not so tricky for me, but for megan who had never seen them before - thats pretty good going! now we need to try them all in one sitting!
