tying me to you vol. 1

Nov 16, 2007 14:22

this is a new poem. not by me... arranged by me. each line is from one of the songs on a new cd i made for doris. it's scattered, but i enjoy the concept. et c'est tres fun.

i see the quiet on you when you're sleeping;
the mind has a mind of its own.

in pitch dark, i go walking in your landscape,
i clung there and danced with you, silent.

alive, even in the winters of your darkest hour...
everyone is getting old;
the dust has only just begun to fall.

once you are seen, it all becomes mystic.
the sirens inside you, waiting to step forward
found an ocean between you and those that you've lost.

take note of all you've seen
and scream like an old bloodhound
to the hours of bodies breaking past,
a mere song that escapes from the rooftops above.

a new cavity moved into my heart today
when God left the ground to circle the world.

i went so quick, it makes you shudder that i'm gone.
dream about me.
