Hi my name is BAH HUMBUG.
I hate christmas. But not becuase of the regular reasons that other cranky people don't like christmas. I'm fine with the long lines and no parking, i don't even attempt shopping unles i'm in a good mood. I don't like hearing christmas music only becuase it makes me think of christmas and the forced love and bonding that the holiday brings. During christmas your are forced to buy the people you love, the people you like, the people you know, and even the people you dont like presents to show how much you love them. I don't like that. I show the people that i love that i love them all year round. I don't need a holiday to do it. I hate having to come up with gifts at the last minute for people i forgot about. And i hate buying gift certificates. Gift certificates are like saying, " i couldn't come up with anything to get you because i am unoriginal." I hate doing that. I like to make people gifts, shows so much more love.
I hate that people ask, "what did you get?" Christmas isn't about what you get. Christmas is about spending time with the people you love.
I hate that kyle always asks for christmas presents that make me want to pound my head against the wall. An electric drum sent? Why the hell would you get him that? Why would you put me through that kind of shit. Like it wasn't enough having to be on the other side of the wall from my grandpa for a year. Now i have to deal not only with kyle's deafness and having his tv way too loud. And his constant talking to himself, but now i have to deal with an electric drum set. Headphones! Yeah headphones would be great except i can still hear the stick on the drum... Damn.
