Lemme just say that the weather was beautiful! Cap'n Scott's memorial was also beautiful! Seeing my folks was great! Camping with the Defiant was awesome.
Here is what sucked.....
I do not like doing group mariner encampments. I did this for Scott. I had to deal with some really annnooooying folks ths weekend that I didn't even really know.
Getting harrassed repeatedly by constables for not having a chemical fire extinguisher, when the rule hasn't even gone into effect yet.
Having to put my foot down on someone not in my household wanting to do the "Dance of the Seven Veils" in my encampment. Are you kidding me?
Having the autocrat for Ducal come and tell me that I can't have fire dancing even though the Kingdom Constable was in my camp when it went down last year.
Not having really much of a turn out on the Eric for Scott's procession even though he was a court baron.
Hearing the word fringie during Scott's memorial party.
Being asked to police the entire outlands because the constables on duty didn't want to deal with "Fringies". I fucking hate that word!
Sometimes I wonder why I still do this when I am constantly met with resistance. I am trying to provide a safe climate for dancers, and musicians, nomads, and mariners alike. They tell me that I am not considered a fringie, that we as the Kali Ma aren't, but they still treat me like one. Ahhhhh!

A girl in a large fluffy dragon suit hit the ground as the ship's surgeon steps on her tail. Jim is recovered! I thought I was going to piss myself. That made all of the above worth it!
Camping with Rashid again after a 5 year rift. Fantastic!
A five year old child telling an adult that they suck! In a playful manner? It was comedy. It was maya and troy.
