(no subject)
So we're headed back to the coast for a handful of days and I am looking forward to it; it's been 3 years. Where did the time go?
Deciding what to pack took a lot less time than I thought it would!
I am a tad nervous about flying, but then I really don't like to fly, I think I'd have the same problem with transporters though lol. If we had more time I would be immensely happy to take the train. It would be very Noir/Harry Potter I think.
Last month I was on a nostalgia trip and stumbled on a Tea Party video and I haven't been able to get enough of them since. I'm so happy I got to see them live (12 YEARS AGO?!?!?!) Something about them makes me want to dance.
There are two things I have promised myself when I finish school: a hammered dulcimer and bellydance lessons. Hopefully we'll have moved into the neighborhood we're eyeballing and they have a studio there. It's really nice and every email I get from them makes me take a deep breath and promise myself one more time. Now that the WoW habit has been kicked I have all this time to yearn lol.
So what do we do now that we don't play?
Well there's a deal of Facebooking, I'll admit, but there are 3 shows we are watching; Farscape, True Blood and Flight of the Conchords (S2)
We go to see our friends more. I am quite proud of that. Primarily we see Bryce/Candy/Chayle, Jo/Marc-Anthony, and Ed.
We do go to the club, but all the youngsters there make me feel old sometimes. Not because of their lil bodies, I have grown quite used to mine and I know it can out-do any of them, it's their attitude and seeing them thinking all that I used to think and doing all I used to do. It makes me wish I had a time machine to tell myself that I could save a lot of heartache and time if I just did___ instead. But, yes, yes, I know, if I did that I would be a different person and things wouldn't have turned out the way they have now. But once in awhile, it is a pleasant fantasy.
We do projects; moving the house around, gardening/battling aphids, sewing, repairing things, writing, working on geek stuff, play a bit of Diablo 2 when we feel like it.
