Ink Chronicles, Day 3
Holy huge difference, Batman. Doesn't hurt half as much as it did yesterday, only the black is at all raised, and that is only somewhat. There's a tiny bit of scabbity flakiness on the red areas, but not enough to really warrant much mention.
Tomorrow is the last day of Tattoo Goo-ing, then I move on to lotioning. Of course, this means I have to go to the walmart and pick up some Aveeno...ugh I hate spending money on something that I already have 15 varieties of. Sadly, all of my lotion is fragranced in some way. Even this fantabulous ultra-conditioning lotion I bought in bulk. That shit's got E and A and shea butter and cocoa butter and olive oil (which is in Tattoo Goo, I might add), and maybe 5 more really good things...and fragrance. FML.
Another point of interest: As this tattoo is on my ankle and partially on leg, shaving is (obviously) a no-go for a while. However! I'm one of those freaks who has a "band" to end the hairline. And that band lies just (and I do mean just) above Alexei's top fin. So while I'll have to attack the bottommost hairs with a tweezer (not as painful as it sounds), I can actually shave fairly normally. Who knew?
