And we'll all float on, all right
Salaam and good evening, worthy friends. (Did, I spell that right? ah, well... hell with it.) Hello again, trusty Livejournal. It's been a while, I suppose. So where am I right now?
Well, as per usual, not much has changed on the surface of my life. I'm still working at McDonald's, still doing comic stuff at a frustratingly slow pace, still trying to make time for friends, family and fun with an increasingly overloaded schedule. Still in debt out my ass.
But this time, things are somewhat looking up. I also have a job at UPS. which means better paychecks, plus the ability to get back in school and health insurance (even if it's not that great prescription-wise) so I can be a bit more independent. In fact, I'm looking to getting an apartment with Angie sometime around March. I'm getting married in July. I've finally statrted to see my frinds a little more. (Some I'd REALLY like to see more often than I do, but I think they know who they are. If you feel you fit this category, dude... call me.) I think I finally have a direction and specific goals as far as my art is concerned, plus I'm working on designing a few games at the moment as well. Fame and riches haven't exactly rolled my way, but for a change, I sorta feel satisfied with where I am.
More to the point, I think I'm satisfied with who I am. Dammit, I'm a fat. balding, starving artist college dropout. But I have the OPTIONS to go to the gym, work more hours, start shopping my comics around, and get back in school. And maybe wear a hat.
