Too busy to post!?!?!?!?
Well it has been quite a while since I wrote anything. Things have been hectic and I have been down in the dumps for a while. Thankfully I have an absolutely awesome Fiance that made things better yesterday. Yesterday was my birthday and well I was just not in the mood. I had been extremely busy the 5 days leading up to it, doing a lot of things that I would have preferred not to do. I really was not looking forward to yesterday. I was on the road again, a trip to El Paso for 4 weeks had been hanging over my head waiting to ponce, and well I was just frustrated with everything and no one was making better. Some were trying and I appreciated that, but none were being successful. So Steph surprised me last night by taking me to the Melting Pot. I do not know if it was the food the atmosphere or what, but we sat there an talked slowly consuming food and things began to look good again. I ended up having one of the better Birthdays of my life. Then we made it out to the 'shoe and spread out a blanket and looked at the faint stars and gazed at each-other and talked some more. I must say that going on a "formal" date is a good thing. I have gotten out of this habit and I and Steph noticed that some of the shimmer had disappeared. We were just letting our time together just kind of pass by instead of cherishing every moment together. So I guess I owe her an apology, for not being more lively. She is one amazing woman, and I am so blessed to be spending the rest of my life with her (or almost all of it since we are not married yet).
So I am headed back to El Paso for 4 weeks in the near future to "collect more data." I know I should not think this, but I really do hope that this will all pay off in the end, that the amount of time I have put into this project, all the frustrations pay for themselves at some level or another, even if it is just a short min. off the amount of time I spend in Purgatory.
Well that is about it... Off to bed now so that I can be in an attic in the morning :-). Oh I love working with my hands.
