Wow. Today's ride was A LOT faster and easier, at least until I hit the extra mileage, then I slowed down a little and got tired, but no burning lungs or feeling like I'd like to hurl at least.
And my body finally let go of a few pounds. I started at 215, went down to 213.5 then up to 216 and now I'm back to 213.5. My goal is 200 by June 16th. It's a little ambitious, especially with a Pure Romance 5 day vacation to Naples, Florida in the middle there, but as much as I'm able to lose between now and the time I start running will be advantageous to my feet, knees and hips!! I intend to eat a lot of Special K cereal and walk on the beach for miles and miles while I'm there.
