Well, okay, so the goti/bani thing never really got resolved as far as images, at least, not until today. Coincidentially, today was the day that I was finally able to access my journal again and the "subscribe to threads" thing was released.
I noticed I've gotten five replies to my previous entry. Good golly! Really people, I'm boring. There's nothing worth reading in this journal.
(thanks for making me feel appreciated though!)
In other news, I rejoined an old Neopets community that I'd abandoned when the addiction of Gaia consumed my internet life.
Yuss yuss, I'm a Neopian.
I joined like ... five months or so after they got started, and every few months I'll go on a Neopia Binge, and then... just stop visiting for several weeks at a time. The only reason I stick around is because I'm addicted to the pets. I do prefer Gaia, but sometimes I get a hankering for flash games and being pissed off at the people who run the site for making it harder to get anywhere.
The community I mentioned is the Draik Clan. Two guesses as to my name there. :3 Actually, the site's rules are 1: You must own a Draik on neopets, and 2: You must use the name of your Draik as your username on their forums; it's a site for roleplaying as your Draik's character, and good golly it gets damn confusing!
So naturally, since I'm one of those snobby rich neopians (ha!) I created a new Draik that shares my name; sorta; some idiot stole my name for their pet so I used my aim name for the draik that = me. I even came up with a tediously complicated backstory. This was all last year but I can still re-register with the old names, as nobody can take them without proving that they own the pets in question.
Anyhow, a lot of the older members still seem to be cool, and there's some OK new ones, but I've not quite found my niche yet. Of course, I didn't really have one there to begin with, which was why it was so easy to stop visiting... but I'm hoping I can find a little bit of home there, like I've found a little bit of home here.
Anything interesting happening in my IRL life? Not really.
Anything interesting happening on Gaia? Not unless you consider glitches galore "interesting" ...
I may begin using this journal to keep track of things beyond updates in my incredibly boring life. Some have suggested a photo album, or a poetry/storytelling type log.
