Oh my gosh I can't get biology terms out of my head. Like right before I fall asleep my brain mumbles this word soup. I remember for awhile aardvark was prominent. Lately, as in, since Tuesday, it's been chordate. It's ridiculous. I'm just glad my brain has been Powered: On lately and I'm just absorbing vocabulary away like a good high verbal skills student instead of having to consciously memorize them later. Seriously. Quiz me. Archaeocyte. Gemmule. Spicule. Kingdomphylumclassorderfamilygenusspecies. Celltissueorgan. Sponges!

In utterly unrelated news, Lena is competing with Cassi for Most Clingy. She's taken to wailing at the window when she can see me outside. She waits for me by the door. She'll be sleeping on one couch and switch to the next one to cuddle up next to me when I sit down, and then commandeer my arm for snuggling purposes. If there is a door between us, she will battle that door. It's like she realized that hey, she's my cat after all! And Cassi is just like "...whatever." She knows she gets the real snuggle time when I'm sleeping. I wonder how long this will last.
