Sometimes when a supervisor screws up the schedule, you just have to let them deal with the consequences instead of taking it as your responsibility. IMO anyway. :p I hope you can get it all figured out!
Also, LOL it's okay! Obviously you weren't so OOC that people were calling you out, so I wouldn't worry about it. I've been there, too, PLENTY of times. You should have seen how I used to play Tidus when I was 16. Not something I'm proud of!
It works a little differently in our cafe. We only have like 6,7 people total working the schedule in this sub-department, so if one person can't show up for whatever reason, the burden falls on whoever IS working. It's an extremely stressful position to be in, especially when customers are pouring in and you're left to work the till AND make the food and drinks. We all, including the supervisor, count on each other to fill an empty spot should someone need the day off.
So yes, technically I don't have to work outside my schedule. But I'd feel awful if I left someone to work all by themselves. :x
I'm not popular enough to be called out on haha. What's sad is that I haven't improved at all since I first began in 2009. OH WELL
That OOC thing on my end was most of the driving force that put Naval on ice for a few months. I'm very terrible with Leon, too, but Jim had made a very valid point about RPing Knuckles once, along the lines that there is no canon indication of how Knuckles would act and socialize in a normal, domesticated life, so it's up to personal interpretation. Since I play pre-insane-fuckface Leon, he's open to a lot as long as his usable interests are still intact somehow. This becomes important since I can't outright have him slash and kill people. Enough has happened to him at sbg at this point for him to edge more into insane fuckface mode as I feel confident in doing so

My problem is that, SURPRISE, I'm still very awkward around the rp community and am afraid to do anything with my characters that might be construed as OOC. It's not really fun to play when you consciously place all these limits on yourself, which in the end, leads to an RP block and tagging starts to feel like a chore. Creative constipation is a pain in the ass (hurr
