It's been a long time since I posted. I'm not sure who even reads this shit anymore. But I'm in Mammoth a little buzzed watching the USC game and life is good. I bought a new snowboard: Feel Good. w/ stiletto bindings and the most amazing burton iRoc boots ever. Super comfortable. And i got discounts because of snowboarding club. Yay go clubs! I ran into Donald, Melissa, and Lindsey at the Village. That was surprising. The snow was really icy this whole week, but Xmas should be way better. I hope so...o, god please!!! This quarter is almost up, thank god. Next quarter is gonna be even harder... =\ i need vacation, but i'd rather have it not at home.
On a nerdier side of life, Matt just bought me a Nintendo DS. I like it A LOT!!! Now I hafta figure out what to buy him for christmas...too bad snwoboarding dex are too expensive for my budget...damnit. i need to work again.
We're on our way to turning 20...crazy no more teen years anymore.
My introduction poem for the story I wrote:
Crumbling Hearts of Stone
Looking back at the beautiful paradise they had loved so free
The tall sweet grass the plentiful beasts and the one forbidden tree
Ignorance and desire sat upon his naked shoulder
His eyes stared up getting colder and colder
Betrayal was crumbling these hearts of stone
Lying in lust and dying alone
She walked behind him further into the barren land
The red sunset marked the beginning of the fall of man
Here's a quick snippet of the story:
He walked over to his kitchen cubicle and pulled out a Corona bottle. Opening the bottom plastic drawer, he took his time choosing the ripest lime. Without even bothering to cut it, he took the entire lime and squeezed it till its juices ran into the frosted bottle. He downed half the bottle, before sighing in contentment. Ah, the simple pleasures. He wiped his hand on a paper towel before walking back into his living room.
She stood there waiting for him. “Holy shit! What are you doing here?” He was shaken up by the stranger in his living room, but his excited and curious eyes betrayed him. Even in the dim moonlight he was able to recognize the girl that he had seen only hours before. She had emerald-green eyes, a confident smile, and hair as black as opals. She barely came up to his chest, and her curvaceous figure was a sexy silhouette against the moon. He took a step towards her ignoring the broken beer bottle on the floor.
----------(a couple pages later)-------------
“Are we having a problem, Lex?” his folded arms buffed out his chest. He raised his right eyebrow and glanced at the target of Lex’s taunting. He instantly felt his pants tighten. She was wearing a short and revealing pleated plaid skirt. She had on knee-high white stockings, and most of the buttons on her silk white blouse were left open revealing a lacey black bra. She was casually leaning against one of the many light posts. His eyes locked with the brilliantly green eyes of the beautiful stranger in front of him. Dirty thoughts kept shoving their way into his mind. She was exotic and mysterious. She was definitely not from Metropolis.
“Forget it was Halloween, cock-block?” slurred Lex swaying his fingers in a peace sign up to his face. His words pulled Clark back to reality. That’s when he noticed Lex had decorated his expensive white suit with a clip-on wolf’s tail and had on a white gangster’s hat with brown floppy ears attached.
