Bravo, bravo!! This is so imaginative and so fantastically well done, G. I think it's salable. Believe me, the Cthulu folks out there and there are a zillion of them, would adore this. So very very clever. I loled at all the asides, and marvelled at the sheer ingenuity of the thing. So impressive.

I hoped there were some readers who were familiar with Cthulhu out there. I think it works even if you've never heard of him before. I needed someone who could beat Satan at his own game and with all those tentacles, and he seemed like a fun candidate for the job, especially because he had to be willing to become a computer virus.

Thank you so much! I had the opening sentence and nothing more for the longest time. I'm glad you like the asides - they are generally the most fun to write. I thought it was time Satan was tricked by a contract, and who better to do it than Cthulhu?
