Kunzite tried to sit up, but quickly stopped when his hair was pulled. Following the length of his hair, he spotted the problem. Somehow, in the middle of the night, his hair had tangled with Chieko's. Gently combing his fingers through the tangles, he seperated the black hairs from the white.
Chieko rolled slightly. 'Don't wake up. I know that you have to get up later, but not yet.' Memories of the long night scampered through his mind as he waited until she settled again. Cautiously, he got out of the bed. When she still didn't move, he tucked the blanket around her. Moving quietly about the room, he got ready for the day.
Cheiko watched him through hooded eyes. The tugging on her hair first roused her, and then Kunzite leaning over her to tuck her back in finished the job. As he moved about the room, she enjoyed seeing the side of him that most people didn't get to see. As he pulled on his cloths, she fought not to smile. 'And more of him than most people see.' Finally, he left their bedroom. Snuggling deeper into the covers, Chieko relaxed until it was time for her to get up and head to the shrine.
