I had the most amazing day possible today. Sean and I recorded for over seven hours today. He came up with so many amazing ideas to add layers to my songs and they are sounding so much better. I added some really pretty harmonies and I played xylophone! Haha, it sounds adorable. And Sean and Marc think I sound like Jenny Lewis which is quite possibly the nicest thing I've heard in my life.
I'm going back to add a drum track to one of my songs. One of Sean's roommates is going to play for me. And another of his roommates kept complimenting me, saying that more people need to hear this, and that he's so glad it's being recorded.
I don't know how to put my day into words, but I'm incredibly happy about it. I'm so excited for this all to pan out.
